Brain Tumor Assistance with Code of Support
From July 2018: OIF/OEF service-connected disabled veteran; Dave G went to Boston, MA on July 17th to participate in a TBI evaluation through “Home Base Project.” During an assessment, the Doctor noticed he was failing the neurological portion of the exam and ordered an MRI. The MRI showed a mandarin size tumor on the left side of Dave’s brain. The tumor is wrapped around nerves and his spinal cord, and their guess is it has been there for some time. Dave is currently admitted to Massachusetts General hospital where he was set to undergo surgery on July 25th, but his surgery took place today Tuesday, July 31st. The children and his wife Mary are currently in Florida where they live, but we want to get Mary out to see her husband on Friday, we need assistance with flights and food.
TDFoundation paid $933 for flights and food with our partner with Code of Support.
