“I have a Navy veteran with two combat tours to Afghanistan. He is 100% service-connected for PTSD. He is currently homeless, however we has found a new apartment. The need is anything towards $3000 for the first month’s rent and deposit. He is married and has 5 children. They lost their house during covid and have just been living with anyone that will take them in.  He is trying to go back to school, enrolled in a barber school and the school quit taking voc. Rehab through the VA. He is now enrolled and will be starting school for an electrician. His pay is currently being garnished for a past debt to the VA adding to their financial burden.”
