An Active Duty SEAL currently assigned to the Advanced Training Command, part of Naval Special Warfare Center needed help for his family. He received multiple TBIs from successive training events and combat operations. He continues his therapies and is preparing for an upcoming deployment if successful. This support is 30 sessions of equine therapy for his minor child.
Second case, the father is a spinal cord injury like TD. Son having some issues. He is part of military Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP). They manage the care and services for family members with special needs. The pediatric provider has prescribed Equine Therapy. Father submitted invoice for said services to Humana and it was denied.
