Artist Bio

Andrew Corbin a.k.a “Drew”, is an Austin Fire Fighter and self taught artist of 11 years. Drew was also a Captain in the US Army, Airborne Ranger, and an Iraq War veteran. He and Tom were “battle buddies” who bonded at Ft. Bragg during train-up and ran their missions together in Baghdad in 2006.  He was there that fateful day and led the evacuation of TD to the CASH (Combat Support Hospital). His calm leadership and tactical skills are a major reason Tom is alive today.

Upon returning from a deployment to Iraq in 2007, he felt the need to take up painting and create. He is inspired by such artists as Church, Onderdonk, Calder, and Edgar Payne to name a few. He enjoys the outdoors and can be frequently seen traipsing through the hills and dales of Texas with his paints and easel. Drew resides in Georgetown, TX with his beautiful wife and 3 children.
