Furniture with Partners at Quality of Life Foundation

$1661 for furniture. Only takes a small amount of money to have HUGE impact. 

Purple Heart family who was awarded a home and within 3 weeks had to move. They had been renting a furnished home and had little to take with them. They have 5 children, one of whom has severe autism and not yet toilet trained; she is 13. They did not have enough beds for all of the children and the child with autism needed everything to be water proofed. We purchased:

• 1 waterproof bean bag chair
• 1 hammock swing for the child with autism (provides her with self-control measures)
• 2 futons
• 2 twin beds, 2 twin mattresses
• 1 water proof mattress
• 1 bed frame that was made of steel (as requested by the mother)
