Our mission is to create HOPE, by reducing poverty, supporting education, reducing the effects of trauma and providing nourishing meals for the children of Afghanistan. While we have many projects including school supplies, Vita-Meals, and medical aid, we have a particular focus and special relationship with the House of Flowers Orphanage outside Kabul.

The Assyrian Medical Society is a humanitarian organization dedicated to serving Assyrian children, families, and their communities stricken by the war and famine in Iraq. Our leadership is based on accountability, transparency and honesty. Assyrians and non-Assyrians are now in need of medical care. They may have orthopedic disabilities, spinal cords injuries or burns because of birth, accidents, or as a result of the war in Iraq. AMS provides that medical care directly or through a network of other medical professionals.
Children In Need International (CINI)
Children In Need International
Our Mission is to provide medical assistance to children from destabilized nations who are in need of acute medical care not available to them due to financial hardship, or lack of medical resources where they live. CINI, a grassroots organization, was founded in 2007 by Brenda McFerrin to help alleviate the suffering of children in destabilized nations that cannot afford the costs of medical care or cannot obtain it in their native country.

Gift Of Life Amman
Gift of Life Charitable Society in Amman (GOLA) is registered as a charitable society with the Jordanian Ministry of Social Development. It facilitates critically needed surgery for underprivileged children whose families cannot otherwise obtain or afford the necessary care. GOLA serves as a beacon of hope and support for families in the Middle East needing assistance to save the lives of their children. GOLA works closely with other charitable organizations, clubs and medical personnel to identify the children in most need, coordinating the financial, medical and logistical support for these children and their families.

Mission: Restore provides life changing plastic and reconstructive surgery both globally and locally to children and adults in need.  The goals of the Foundation are to:

  • Provide expert plastic and reconstructive surgical care to patients in need in the US and throughout the world;

  • Invest in scientific research focused on developing better plastic and reconstructive surgery practices and procedures.
Our Chance International
Our Chance International
Our Chance International, Inc. was founded in 2005 to provide for the medical needs of orphaned and disadvantaged children worldwide. To date, we have brought children to the US from Kosovo, Macedonia, Iraq and Ghana. We are currently able to provide cardiac, maxillo facial, orthopedic, neurological, ophthalmologic, plastic and general pediatric surgeries for children who would otherwise be unable to receive these often times life saving treatments. All of our staff are volunteers and receive no compensation.

Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health continues to be recognized as one of the top children’s hospitals and has achieved many distinctions, establishing the hospital as one of the premier pediatric research facilities in the nation. Since 1924, Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health has provided compassionate care, support and comfort to children and their families. The dedicated pediatric physicians, clinical staff and generous donors have made Riley at IU Health a place of hope and healing for generations.

School Is Open is a charitable, not-for-profit organization registered tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization working to improve education in developing countries. Currently we are focusing our efforts in Afghanistan, supporting teachers and students to get the tools they need to get an education.

Shriners Hospitals for Children has a mission to: (1) Provide the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment. (2) Provide for the education of physicians and other healthcare professionals. (3) Conduct research to discover new knowledge that improves the quality of care and quality of life of children and families. This mission is carried out without regard to race, color, creed, sex or sect, disability, national origin or ability of a patient or family to pay.
The Afghan Orphan Project (TAOProject)

Our goal is to fund, build, and sustain the largest orphanage in Afghanistan, the “Khalakhan Orphanage”. In Afghanistan, an overwhelming number of children are abandoned, orphaned, abused and living on the streets. The care of orphans and street children is among the primary concerns of the TAO Project. We are raising funds to build an orphanage in the Khalakhan district, near Kabul, Afghanistan.

Veterans Rebuilding Iraq
VRI is a volunteer network dedicated to helping American Veterans rebuild their lives, by helping Iraqi civilians rebuild their own. As Iraq war vets, we risked our lives to accomplish our assigned missions. But our sense of duty did not end with our tours. We offer assistance to any organization developing humanitarian efforts in Iraq. We support any organization assisting American veterans returning from Iraq. Our members are ready to volunteer for any work that needs to be done, both in the U.S. and overseas.
